Just Don’t Call Me God!

A fictional tale based upon true stories of research-published near-death experiences. It is a no holds barred accounting of the greatest sense of humor in the universe: God’s. Written to offend everyone, the main character, Dirk, a wealthy businessman, stumbles upon a drug that “takes you to visit God.” Dirk and God are at odds with each other, and God keeps sending him back to Earth. The back-and-forth continues until God has had enough and passes judgement on Dirk. Costarring Jesus, Moses, and Satan.

At War With My Self

A psychological thriller. The true story of a man who is born poor, becomes wealthy, lives the rockstar lifestyle and loses it all. Driven by bouts of self-harm and intense self-hatred, the main character’s personality splits in two, and the two personalities battle it out in a real-life drama dotted with comedic flashbacks. The main character is both the protagonist and antagonist of his own story.

The Happy Side Of Misery

Kevin Ferrell, a wealthy entrepreneur and male model, thinks he’s invincible. But after colliding head-on with a little blue pill, he would soon discover that having wealth and losing it is far worse than never having had it at all. Facing homelessness, the MC’s life as he knew it was over. The story explores the challenges of a man born poor, fighting to become rich, then forfeiting everything to his inner demons. A man whose only weapons against fate are a pen and a sense of humor.   The Happy Side weaves in and out of reality as the MC attempts to reconcile with the hows and whys of his self-induced myriad of mental illnesses. A former psych nurse, to him, the list of nineteen (and counting) psychiatric diagnoses is laughable. And the only cure is regaining his wealth. So I invite you to come along as the MC—the protagonist and antagonist of his own story—recounts the happy times from the past that led to the miserable times in the present. Sometimes, laughter is the best medicine. Indeed.
