Kevin Ferrell, a wealthy entrepreneur and male model, thinks he’s invincible. But after colliding head-on with a little blue pill, he would soon discover that having wealth and losing it is far worse than never having had it at all. Facing homelessness, the MC’s life as he knew it was over. The story explores the challenges of a man born poor, fighting to become rich, then forfeiting everything to his inner demons. A man whose only weapons against fate are a pen and a sense of humor.   The Happy Side weaves in and out of reality as the MC attempts to reconcile with the hows and whys of his self-induced myriad of mental illnesses. A former psych nurse, to him, the list of nineteen (and counting) psychiatric diagnoses is laughable. And the only cure is regaining his wealth. So I invite you to come along as the MC—the protagonist and antagonist of his own story—recounts the happy times from the past that led to the miserable times in the present.
